"Click, Click"

So my son has discovered a way to get mommy to let him stay up longer - he shows an interest in photography. LOL. His new toy of the moment is his play camera and this particular night he was very interested in taking pictures instead of sleeping so of course I had to run and get the camera for my daily pic. Also since I've been lacking time to post my project366 pictures daily I've changed this blog concept to be my photography journal and I'll continue to share my personal images.....

Happy Place....

One of my son's little quirks is that when he's really tired or upset he sucks his thumb and plays with his belly button....a habit we're trying to break but in the meantime we've nicknamed this little Keatonism happy place. I always feel relieved when I notice one of my client's kids do this too - I was getting worried about him for awhile there. LOL.

Update soon.....

Wow it's been crazy busy here and Project366 kinda fell off the to do list but I promise to start posting more. I can't promise a daily post but will try for a weekly recap of images from that week. I've had so many clients ask about it so I promise you I will get some updated pictures soon. (+:

36/366....

It's good to be back in the studio today - DH's turn to take care of the sick kiddos. We have three at home now sick if you count him. I may sleep here at the studio. (+:

Today I decided to capture two things that help me start my day..... my daily coffee fix and my daily to do list. I've got ADD and couldn't survive without my to do list each day. It keeps me on track. (+:

Here's a little "Keatonism" for ya. When he's tired he goes to the steps and lays down...

So I know he's not a Viking anymore but this was taken today to represent who I'm routing for. I'm a Moss fan - always love watching him play.

OK - Just to show how seriously committed I am to this project I'm showing this picture. It's an awful picture of myself so I'm hoping it goes to page 2 quickly. LOL.

On Saturday we went to see the Hannah Montana 3D concert and it was so fun. We got these super "cute" glasses to wear and it was pretty cool to see the 3D effects.....looks like it may be a new movie trend this year. If you are on the fence about taking your daughter (or son) to see it I highly recommend it. We went to the concert but here we could actually SEE the concert and not have to watch on a screen. At one point {T} got really excited because fireworks shot out of the stage and she remembered she took a picture at that exact moment at the concert (and she really did).

SOOO to remember the day we took a self portrait. Not the best but it's the memory that matters.

{Also learned a cool trick at DH's holiday party this weekend for self portraits - if you have a camera with a flip screen you can flip it all the way around to it's facing the front of the camera and then when you are taking your self portrait you can actually see if you've gotten everyone in the frame. Pretty cool trick.}

Enough babbling...

Friday was Father / Daughter dance night. We didn't have enough time to go to the studio for pictures so just a few quick snaps at home. Next year. (+:

31/366......

Wow I've gotta catch up here! I've been taking them - just crazy busy at the {S} house this week so no time to post.

These little cuties came to see me last week for their Winter White session. I've photographed these two a few times now and we always have fun - they knew exactly what to expect this time and they certainly didn't forget that they get stickers. LOL.

30/366....

This is a rare quiet moment from my little guy - he was like a little pinball the rest of the night bouncing from one room to the other. I don't know where he gets his energy from. (+:
